A leading local authority is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to critical data initiatives, focusing on ensuring the seamless and secure transfer of vital information.

The Role

  • Review initial discovery phase outputs and analyze existing datasets for quality assessment
  • Develop comprehensive data mapping and migration strategies
  • Execute data migration from legacy systems to new cloud platforms
  • Provide recommendations on migration approaches, risks, and timelines
  • Support the successful implementation and completion of migration projects
  • Map databases and prepare data for secure transmission via SFTP

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience in data migration projects
  • Expertise in data design and structuring data for new systems
  • Proven ability in data mapping, including matching and transforming data
  • Experience migrating data from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to assess data quality and recommend migration approaches
  • Previous experience in the public sector, understanding data management and governance is preferred
