Location: London, Hybrid and Remote

Rendesco is the UK's leading heat pump and heat network business. We design, build, fund, own and operate low-carbon heating systems that help homes and communities move away from gas. We're growing quickly, and technology is central to how we operate. We're now looking for a recent graduate to join our team and help us make the most of our technology while keeping our systems, data and people secure.

The Role

This is a broad graduate role offering hands-on experience across IT, data, AI and cyber security. You'll work alongside our IT services partner and colleagues across the business, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop.

  • Has a genuine interest in IT, data, AI and security.
  • Is curious, analytical and enjoys solving problems.
  • Has explored technology through university, personal projects, work experience or self-directed learning.
  • Has some understanding of cloud technology, networking or security fundamentals.
  • Communicates clearly and can explain technical ideas in straightforward language.
  • Is organised, proactive and comfortable asking questions.
  • Wants to build a career across technology, security, data and AI.

About you:

  • We're hiring for potential and aptitude, not years of experience. You might be a recent graduate with a degree in:

    1. Computing, Computer Science or Information Systems
    2. Data science or Data Management
    3. Cyber security or AI
    4. Science or another related subject
  • Support the day-to-day management of our IT systems, hardware, software and cloud services.

  • Help manage IT assets, licences and user access, including joiner, mover and leaver processes.

  • Support our IT supplier relationship and help ensure we're getting good service and value.

  • Help maintain our Cyber Essentials Plus certification and wider security controls.

  • Support security awareness, access reviews, phishing simulations and incident response.

  • Help develop our approach to responsible AI use, including approved tools, AI security and data protection.

  • Support data governance, reporting and UK GDPR activities.

  • Identify opportunities to use data, automation and AI to improve how we work.
