IT Delivery Lead – Infrastructure & HR Systems
£600–£650 per day | 9–10 months | London hybrid – 1 day per week - Outside IR35
We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Lead / Senior IT Project Manager to lead several concurrent technology projects within a large international organisation.
This is a hands-on delivery role covering a combination of IT infrastructure and HR/payroll technology, including systems migration, integration and legacy decommissioning.
You will take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, managing delivery from planning and governance through testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare and transition into BAU.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing several concurrent IT projects through the full delivery lifecycle
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID and financial reporting
- Coordinating technical, functional, business and third-party/vendor teams
- Managing infrastructure-related delivery alongside HR/payroll system migrations and integrations
- Leading SIT/UAT planning and execution, defect management and acceptance
- Developing and managing cutover, go/no-go, hypercare and BAU transition plans
- Managing governance, change control and senior stakeholder reporting
- Ensuring project budgets, actuals and vendor costs are effectively controlled

Experience required
We are looking for someone with:
- 10+ years' IT project management/delivery experience
- Strong experience delivering IT infrastructure projects
- Experience delivering HR, payroll, time & attendance or similar enterprise system migrations
- Experience of legacy system migration and/or decommissioning
- Strong experience managing multiple projects/workstreams concurrently
- Proven delivery of projects with budgets exceeding £1m
- Excellent governance, RAID, financial and vendor management experience
- Strong stakeholder management, comfortable operating from technical teams through to senior executives
- Experience of testing, cutover, go-live and transition into BAU
- Recognised Project Management and/or Agile certification
