As an IT Delivery Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of IT services, projects and releases that support critical HMRC business functions.
You'll work with technical specialists, suppliers and business stakeholders to manage delivery plans, risks and dependencies, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed timescales and quality standards. You'll play a key role in driving collaboration, maintaining governance controls and supporting continuous service improvement across complex IT environment

Essential Criteria
We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Demonstrate
- Proven experience delivering IT projects or services, ensuring work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
- Experience identifying, managing and mitigating project risks, issues, dependencies and delivery challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and third-party suppliers to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
- Knowledge of IT service management and delivery frameworks, with an understanding of governance, release management and change processes.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.

Desirable Criteria
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience raising and managing Purchase Orders (POs).
- Knowledge of HMRC business areas, particularly Business Taxes, Corporation Tax or CoTax Live Services.
