Role Overview
As an IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex software, cloud, and digital IT initiatives. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, clearing blockers, managing dependencies, and ensuring multi-disciplinary teams (engineers, QA, Product Managers, and 3rd-party vendors) deliver high-value outcomes on time and within budget.
You will advocate for best practices across Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks, ensuring appropriate governance without sacrificing velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects and digital transformation streams from inception through to operational handover.
- Establish efficient delivery cadence, facilitating key ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, showcase reviews).
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID) proactively, taking ownership to resolve blockers before they impact delivery targets.
- Work closely with Product Managers to align sprint goals with strategic product roadmaps and commercial objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
