Summary
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE
We’re looking for an IT Delivery Partner to act as the vital link between regional teams, properties and the central IT function. In this influential role, you’ll ensure local priorities are understood, represented and translated into effective technology solutions that support organisational goals.
What It's Like To Work Here
You’ll join a national IT team that works collaboratively to support properties, portfolios and regions across the National Trust. The team plays a key role in connecting local operational needs with national technology strategies, helping to ensure that IT investments, services and infrastructure deliver meaningful outcomes for the organisation.
As this is a national role, there is flexibility on your contractual place of work. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure local priorities are reflected in technology planning and delivery. You’ll identify and capture demand for IT services, helping define requirements and connect with specialists to achieve successful outcomes. You’ll provide advice on IT services, infrastructure, governance and security, helping colleagues understand the processes and considerations involved in delivering effective technology solutions.
You’ll lead IT engagement on significant property and portfolio projects, working with stakeholders to identify requirements, shape proposals and align solutions with strategic and operational priorities. You’ll use your understanding of local opportunities and challenges to influence planning, improve services and ensure regional perspectives are represented in decision-making. You’ll also champion best practice and support continuous improvement of IT services where they serve our regional colleagues,

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
