Job Role
We're looking for an organised and reliable IT Deployment Technician to support a large-scale laptop rollout programme. This is a practical, hands-on role focused on preparing, configuring and testing end-user devices so they are ready for deployment across the organisation. You will need to be available to start in the next couple of weeks.
This role would suit someone who enjoys following clear processes, takes pride in accurate work and is comfortable completing repetitive tasks to a consistently high standard. Previous IT experience would be helpful, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience building, configuring or deploying laptops or other end-user devices would be an advantage, as would familiarity with Windows 10, Windows 11, ChromeOS or Microsoft Intune. However, we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability and the ability to follow processes accurately.
This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience within an IT environment while contributing to an important device rollout project. You will receive training, work as part of a supportive Service Desk team and play a key role in ensuring laptops are configured and ready for use.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £25,877 p.a. pro rata with these great benefits:
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day off (with the opportunity to buy additional days)
- 2 Volunteer Days
- Pension - 5% Employee 5% Employer
- Healthcare Cash Plan, incl. 3 x salary life assurance

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
