Role: IT Desk Support Specialist
Location: 5 days a week, London
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
As our IT Desk Support Specialist you will be the first point of contact for technical support across our UK organisation. This is a hands-on role within our IT, Workplace and Facilities team in London, working closely with colleagues across the business to keep everyone productive every day. It is a newly created position with real scope to shape it as we grow.
Responsibilities
- Providing first-line IT support via desk-side, phone, email and ticketing systems
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network and access issues
- Onboarding new starters: preparing equipment, configuring accounts and setting up system access
- Setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices and other IT kit
- Managing user accounts, permissions and access requests in line with security policy
- Owning the IT support ticket queue and keeping SLAs on track
- Maintaining accurate IT asset records and inventory
- Supporting off-boarding and pitching in with the wider Workplace and Facilities team when needed

Skills & Attributes
- Experience in an IT helpdesk, service desk, or desktop support role
- Strong troubleshooting skills: you work the problem, not the panic
- Good working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common workplace IT
- Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing tools
- Clear communicator: able to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Proactive ownership: you see a problem and see it through to resolution
