Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $58,572.00 - $71,744.00 per year
About the Role
The IT EMR Specialist is responsible for supporting the agency's electronic medical record (EMR) system, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment, electronic forms, workflow development, documentation, training, and day-to-day technology support. This position serves as a key resource for the IT Department and agency staff by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, system support, and user training.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the agency's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Develop, configure, test, implement, and maintain EMR forms and workflows.
- Develop and maintain EMR documentation, procedures, workflows, and supporting materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve EMR system utilization, efficiency, and workflow.
- Develop and maintain EMR training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Assist the IT Department with daily help desk operations and technical support.
- Assist with responding to, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving help desk tickets.
- Provide first-level technical support to staff experiencing computer, software, connectivity, peripheral, or application issues.
- Assist with computer and workstation setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Support staff with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Zoom, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related services.
- Assist with new employee technology setup and onboarding.
- Assist the IT Department with daily operational tasks and special projects as directed.
- Assist departments with organization and management of SharePoint sites, document libraries, folders, and permissions.
- Provide new-hire technology and EMR onboarding training.
- Develop and facilitate monthly IT/EMR training for agency staff.

Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in MIS or business-related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including internships, preferably in a healthcare organization, business or communications organization.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (CareLogic), Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Development, Adobe Pro Form Development (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office365, SharePoint, Adobe Pro).
- Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience coordinating multiple assignments and projects.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

Since 1966, Zumbro Valley Health Center has been serving our community as a non-profit organization. We serve the twelve-county region of Southeast MN and have over 240 employees. We are one of the few providers in the state, to provide such an integrative and comprehensive care to all children, adults, and families. In order to provide an integrative approach, we offer a wide variety of services including Outpatient Psychotherapy and Substance Use, Inpatient Residential Treatment, Withdrawal Management and Detoxification, Housing, Skills – Based Training and Targeted Case Management for adults and children, and more.
Pay
$58,572 - $71,744 per year. Compensation is based on years of experience.
