IT Engagement Manager
Quest Search and Selection is currently hiring an IT Engagement Manager. This role acts as a strategic interface between the business and the IT function. They champion IT within the business by translating business requirements into clear IT solutions, from scoping change initiatives through to successful delivery.
This company is a leading international logistics operator, delivering customers and freight services globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the primary interface between IT and the business
- Understand and translate both tactical and strategic business requirements into value-driven IT initiatives
- Translate operational business needs into clear technology solutions, ensuring IT initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Monitor project delivery, risks and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and user adoption
- Lead demand management and prioritisation, balancing BAU and transformation activity across the business
- Drive delivery of change initiatives (e.g. CRM transformation), working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers, and providing regular Steering Committee updates
- Open to working with different partners in head office such as Marketing, Finance, Commercial, HR etc (you will have key ownership of 1-2 areas).
- Own and influence senior stakeholder relationships, aligning IT priorities with business objectives
- Represent IT in meetings and forums, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities

Requirements
To be successful in this IT Engagement Manager:
- Ideally having experience as an IT Business Partner / Business Relationship Manager or IT Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement
- This isn't so much a technical role but a business and stakeholder role & championing Tech/IT as part of their on-going strategy.
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience of managing & working with 3rd party tech partner
- Demonstrates a track record of driving innovation and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to deliver projects successfully, achieving tangible business change outcomes and benefits realisation
- Takes a forward-thinking, proactive approach, anticipating challenges and acting ahead
