Titan Wealth IT Support Engineer

Join Titan Wealth's growing Technology team as an IT Support Engineer and play a key role in supporting a fast-paced, ambitious business undergoing significant growth and transformation. This is far more than a traditional service desk position. You'll be the go-to expert for colleagues across the business, providing 1st and 2nd line support while working with modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Active Directory. Working closely with a collaborative team of engineers across the UK and internationally, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one, contribute to business-critical initiatives, and develop your career within one of the UK's fastest-growing wealth management firms.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes ownership, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Job Responsibilities

  • Offering IT services & support over telephone, email, remote, but mostly face-to-face.
  • As needed to assist the migration team to onboard new companies acquired into the group M365 tenant.
  • Using ServiceDesk+ for logging, monitoring, and managing tickets.
  • Work closely with users from all global offices to resolve issues, keeping users informed/updated and escalate where appropriate.
  • Follow industry best practice to proactively maintain the infrastructure to prevent failures/issues and improve performance, availability, and resilience.
  • Build and maintain corporate PCs and laptops, keeping adequate spares-levels (inventory).
  • Administration of starters and leavers, getting quotes and placing orders (procurement).
  • Guide and support users in following group IT standards, policies & procedures.
  • Manage/participate in project initiatives (as assigned) to achieve broader IT objectives.
  • Contribute to and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
  • The role may involve occasional travel in the UK to different sites.
  • Adhere to consumer duty.

Education and Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with desktop support in Microsoft environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills, comfortable in high engagement environment.
  • A+ PC technician / N+, MD100, MD101 certifications are advantageous.
  • Decent understanding of networking, routers, firewalls. E.g. able to replace router/AP.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Proactive and ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent methodology in fault-finding.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows 10/11 Enterprise, Office 365.
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Identity Management.
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks like NIST/CIS advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server / roles and features would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of mobile device platforms; iOS, Android and MS Surface tablets.
  • Self-motivated, well organised.
  • Ability to prioritise and focus.
