About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on an initial 3-month contract basis. As a vital part of the IT support structure, the 2nd Line IT Engineer will be responsible for delivering responsive and effective technical support to a diverse client base. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, managing user accounts, and supporting a range of hardware and network infrastructure. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to demonstrate their technical expertise and customer service skills within a fast-paced MSP environment. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support, Desktop Support, or Service Desk environment.
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Experience supporting Google Workspace environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 devices and Apple Macs.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ticketing and IT Service Management systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Line technical support for incidents and service requests across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows, and Mac devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to email clients, collaboration tools, networking, and end-user hardware.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, group memberships, software licensing, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Handle escalated support tickets, maintain accurate documentation, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP configurations.
- Support and maintain hardware peripherals and infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver exceptional technical support and customer service.
- Assist in maintaining documentation for support procedures, configurations, and technical issues.
