Your New Role

Join WBITVP IT as an IT Engineer and play a key role in supporting operational teams across London, Brighton, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, and remote production locations throughout the UK. Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, you will provide practical technical support across a diverse range of technologies, ensuring colleagues have the tools and systems they need to work effectively. If you enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced production environment, we would love to hear from you.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Install, configure, deploy and support Mac and PC desktop hardware and software, both on-site and remotely.
  • Provide desktop support, onboard and offboard users, and support applications including Box, Office 365, Microsoft Remote Desktop, and hardware allocation for new starters and leavers.
  • Install and support desktop applications including Microsoft Office, Final Draft, Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and other business applications as required.
  • Provide break/fix support for printers and scanners.
  • Act as the customer service liaison and point of contact between operational companies and third-party software or system providers through Warner Bros. channels, including Just Produce.
  • Maintain and update documentation, procedures, and user guides for deployed technologies.
  • Maintain and track inventory of workstations, laptop kits, and related equipment.
  • Track production software licences, including Movie Magic Budgeting, Movie Magic Scheduling, and Final Draft, ensuring licences are renewed and removed from BYOD devices during offboarding.
  • Act as a point of contact for calls to the UK Helpdesk.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a 1st and 2nd line IT support role.
  • Ideally experienced in supporting technology within a TV production environment.
  • Proven experience supporting cloud-based applications and platforms, including Office 365, Active Directory, Box, DUO 2FA, Okta, and Zoom.
  • Proven experience supporting hardware including MacBooks, PC laptops and desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently, apply sound judgement, and make effective use of available support and escalation paths.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality while delivering a high standard of user support and service.

Hybrid Working

This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
