IT Engineer

Recruitment Agency: Norton Blake

Position Type: 12 month FTC

Location: Onshore

Norton Blake is partnering with a global industry leader to recruit an IT Engineer responsible for delivering hands-on 1st and 2nd line support across global operations. This position offers direct exposure to enterprise infrastructure and modern end-user computing, with a structured pathway to progress into a Senior IT Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive 1st and 2nd line support to end-users, resolving service requests and technical incidents within SLA targets.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Windows endpoints using Autopilot, Microsoft Intune, and modern management tooling.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy under the guidance of senior technical staff.
  • Execute user onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account provisioning, hardware configuration, and access management.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, alerting dashboards, and backup jobs, escalating anomalies as necessary.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, knowledge base articles, and ITSM asset records.
  • Troubleshoot core network components, including basic switch configurations, Wi-Fi, and VPN operations.
  • Provide on-site IT support for local office operations, including meeting room media systems and hardware maintenance.

Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience supporting end-user computing, identity administration, core infrastructure, and monitoring/automation tools.
  • Demonstrated background supporting users across diverse geographical locations, time zones, or operational environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all business levels.
