Location: Herdus House, West Cumbria, Hinton House, Warrington; London or Harwell, Oxford
40% office attendance per week
Security Clearance: SC
- Detailed knowledge of new and emerging technology (such as AI and Quantum for example) and its impacts on current estate and new solutions.
- Ability to define, create and implement reporting measures for all stakeholders to provide clarity on the functions of IT security to provide ongoing confidence.
- Ability to manage 3rd party MSPs.
- Broad technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Windows Server, VMware, Storage solutions Active Directory and Entra ID alongside Microsoft Azure Platforms.
- Strong networking knowledge including HPE, Fortinet, WAN connectivity and network security.
- Infrastructure Manager or similar leadership role in an outsourced IT environment.
- Strong understanding of IT Security, backup and disaster recovery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix management fashion with all stakeholders relevant to the role. This includes third party MSPs.
- Experienced in infrastructure design, project management and project delivery.
- Understanding of compliance requirements in a heavily regulated environment.
- Ability to create solutions and implement risk mitigation controls for legacy IT solutions.
