Job Overview:

Role: IT Expert Principal
Location: Hatfield (AL10 9TW)
Contract: 01-Sep-2026 to 01-Mar-2027
Clearance required: Govt Security clearance
Hours: 37.5 hours a week.
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Onsite)

Summary of responsibilities:

  • The candidate must also be preparing for the VCF9 release certification – and the candidate must hold the VCP-VCF certification.
  • Further VMware specialisations are also preferred, with vRealize Automation (Aria Automation) vRealize Operations (Aria Operations) skills being in demand.
  • More general automation skills including PowerShell, python, JavaScript will be beneficial in completing automation projects.
  • The candidate will lead in designing and deploying VMware solutions and develop further customisations of customers VCF deployments to maximise the use of the VCF9 features, including upgrades to VCF9.
  • As this is an Associate Role for various roles dependent on changing requirements from the customers. This is Design & architectural role.
  • Daily tasks vary from Designing VMware VCF solutions, deploying VCF solutions to automation tasks – as per the job description.
