IT Field Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer‑focused IT Field Engineer to join our Service & Delivery function. This role is a key part of our technical operations, combining onsite engineering, remote support, and high‑quality customer service across our client base. As the technical face during site visits, you will represent our standards of professionalism, capability, and care.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to work independently while maintaining alignment with our wider service teams.

Role Overview

As an IT Field Engineer, you will deliver onsite and remote technical support across desktop, server, cloud, networking, and telecoms environments. You will attend customer sites to resolve issues that cannot be handled remotely, carry out scheduled maintenance visits, support project delivery, and ensure customer environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with best practice.

You will work closely with the Service Director, Service Desk Team Lead, and the wider Service Delivery function to ensure seamless end‑to‑end service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
