We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused IT Field Service Engineer to join Medivet on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Frequent travel across the South East and Greater London regions is required. Some out-of-hours work may occasionally be necessary to support business-critical activity.

Reporting into our IT team, you'll provide advanced onsite hardware and software support, acting as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved by the Service Desk. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, ensuring our practices have reliable, effective technology that enables them to deliver exceptional care to patients and clients.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines technical support, problem-solving, project delivery, and stakeholder management. No two days are the same, and we're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on challenges, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide advanced onsite IT support for colleagues across our practice network and support functions.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues raised through the IT Service Desk.
  • Manage incidents through to resolution, including liaising with third-party suppliers and support partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken within our Freshworks service management platform.
  • Deliver IT support in line with business requirements and operational trading hours.
  • Support multiple IT projects simultaneously, taking the lead on smaller projects where required.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure services are delivered to a high standard.
  • Identify opportunities to improve colleague experience, operational efficiency, and IT service delivery.
  • Provide proactive maintenance and support across a large and diverse IT estate.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding incidents, service improvements, project updates, and system changes.
  • Support equipment installations, relocations, decommissions, and practice technology deployments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
