Role Overview
Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled IT field Support agent to join our team. You will play a pivotal role by intervening in any guest/employee situation as needed to ensure the integrity of the property is maintained, guest satisfaction is achieved, and employee well-being is preserved.
Key Responsibilities
Eligible candidate will be part of a team supporting a group of 13 hotels and office locations within zone 1-4 in London. You will be first line of support and the feet on ground supporting our staff and guest.

- Be the first point of contact for all IT issues.
- Working knowledge in installing and configuring desktops, laptops and audio equipment.
- Providing onsite technical assistance during events to help our guests connect equipment to property IT Infrastructure or use our in-house equipment.
- Assisting our guests with the in-room entertainment system e.g. TV, tablets, audio system, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Coordinate with our central Helpdesk team and provide assistance to them for remote and onsite related tasks and duties.
- Maintain company IT assets, ensuring they are kept up to date and in good working condition and in tally with the asset management software.
- Other ad hoc IT tasks given to you by the IT Manager.
Requirements And Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT.
- Understanding of IT equipment e.g. laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, etc.
- Good knowledge of managing and connecting Audio/Video and other conferencing equipment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate needs to be customer centric.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Multitasking, organisational skills and time management skills
- Positive demeanour
- Proactive and reliable
- Candidate should be willing to travel between sites at short notice within London.
- Candidate should be flexible to work in any shift timings, including Saturday and Sunday based on the department requirements.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written is essential.
- Basic knowledge of networking e.g. VLANs, routing, installing and terminating CAT5/6 cabling is beneficial.
