About The Role
We are seeking an IT Governance Coordinator to keep Wren's IT service catalogue, resilience records, and governance evidence complete, accurate, and up to date. Working across IT teams and the wider business, you will gather information from subject matter experts, turn it into clear, consistent records, and make sure reviews, tests, and follow-up actions happen on time.
In practice, this is a hands-on role at the center of how IT keeps track of what it runs and how well it is protected. You will maintain the IT service catalogue, run the review and sign-off cycle with Heads of IT and Business Owners, and follow up gaps and overdue actions until they are closed. You will also support resilience and compliance activity, from business impact assessment workshops and disaster recovery tests to supplier, data flow, and policy records, and pull together the evidence needed for NIST CSF assessments and audits.
This is a fully office-based role at our Head Office in Barton-upon-Humber.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interview service owners and subject matter experts across IT and the business to capture details of each IT service, and complete catalogue entries in Confluence using the agreed templates.
- Coordinate review and sign-off of catalogue entries by the relevant Head of IT and Business Owner before publishing, and run the ongoing review schedule.
- Track gaps, missing information, and overdue reviews, follow them up with owners, and escalate unresolved items to the relevant Head of IT or the IT Director.
- Prepare for and record business impact assessment workshops, capturing the agreed service criticality, recovery time, and recovery point objectives for approval.
- Schedule and coordinate disaster recovery and restore tests with IT teams and suppliers, record the results, and keep the supporting evidence.
- Maintain IT supplier, data flow, and obligations records, working with Procurement, Legal, and the Data Protection Officer.
- Maintain the IT policy review schedule and prompt policy owners when reviews are due.
- Compile governance evidence for NIST CSF assessments and audits, and produce a monthly status report covering catalogue completeness, overdue reviews, and open actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
