What to Expect
We are recruiting for a Graduate to join our IT & Digital team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey.
There has never been a more exciting time to join McLaren. As we continue to invest in a wide-ranging digital transformation, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to major technology initiatives that are reshaping how we design, build, and support our products and business operations.
This is a two-year rotational programme designed to accelerate your technical development and business understanding, preparing you for a long-term career in IT.
Please note this is an on-site position.
What You'll Do
As an IT Graduate, you’ll be part of a structured programme designed to give you broad exposure across our IT & Digital function. You'll have the opportunity to shape your own development journey by selecting a new six-month rotation throughout the programme, allowing you to build experience in areas that align with your interests and career aspirations.
Following your initial onboarding, you’ll choose your own six-month rotations, allowing you to explore different areas of IT & Digital, contributing to real projects that deliver value across the business while gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies, teams and challenges.
Core Areas of Focus
- Core Technology – Service desk operations, modern workplace, infrastructure, cloud technologies and cyber security.
- Manufacturing & Operations Solutions – Digital solutions and business intelligence that support manufacturing, supply chain and business operations.
- Product Development Solutions – Technologies that enable vehicle engineering, design, testing and product lifecycle management.
- Customer Experience Solutions – Systems, platforms and products that support sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
- Data & Artificial Intelligence – Data engineering, analytics, automation and AI-powered innovation.

What You'll Bring
You must have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
- A passion for technology and its application within a high-performance environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and data literacy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
