IT & Information Security Auditor
Kindus is a specialised IT security, assurance, and GRC consultancy providing high-quality risk and cyber security services across the UK and Europe. We are seeking an experienced IT & Information Security Auditor on a flexible basis to deliver third-party assurance and ISMS audits for a major enterprise client.
Role Details
- Position: IT & Information Security Auditor
- Schedule: Flexible (approx. 3 days equivalent per week, deliverable-driven)
- Location: UK-based (Remote / Hybrid) with requirement to travel to European locations as needed
- Rate / Fee: Paid per completed audit assignment (Fixed fee per output, including scoping, fieldwork, and final report) / Competitive rate per project

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end audit lifecycles: lead scoping calls, perform fieldwork, write reporting, and conduct exit meetings.
- Execute third-party assurance audits for a primary enterprise supplier and its sub-tier vendors.
- Conduct ISMS (ISO 27001) assessments to evaluate governance, security controls, and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Juggle multiple concurrent audit assignments across various stages with minimal supervision.

Requirements
- Proven experience delivering IT audits, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) assurance, or ISMS audits.
- Strong working knowledge of IT security frameworks, ITGCs, and supply chain security.
- Clear, confident communication skills for engaging senior client and vendor stakeholders.
- Any audit qualifications would be advantageous.
- UK-based with full flexibility for occasional European travel.
