The role is full-time
Salary: Competitive with excellent package including private health insurance
We are looking to add an Infrastructure and Security Technician to our IT team who will support the Infrastructure and Security Engineer in monitoring and maintaining the Society’s computer systems, telephony, networks and technology. This includes
- Installing and configuring computer systems
- Diagnosing network, hardware and software faults and solving technical issues
- Supporting internal users in their use of technology
- Developing and maintaining close relationships with infrastructure, hardware, and software partners to implement updates and new versions of hardware and software
- Troubleshooting and correcting user and system issues
- Keeping up to date in the IT industry in relation to computer infrastructure and security
- Testing and updating the Society's IT Recovery plan
- Maintaining Microsoft 365 services, developing and making good use of file storage and email services for all users
- Ensuring all our systems, infrastructure and data are secure and appropriately protected with the latest security measures and technologies
- Compile and circulate IT service reports

The right person for us is someone who finds solutions to problems, implementing them quickly and efficiently so that we can continue to offer our members brilliant service. Ideally knowledge and experience of working within a regulatory environment with knowledge of cybersecurity, Azure, Network design & maintenance, VMWare, Active Directory, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration testing, VoiP telephony and MS Office.
