IT Infrastructure Engineer – One day per week in County Durham

£32,000 - £36,000 + Excellent benefits

This profitable and growing organisation require an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer, who has extensive Windows Server expertise and experience working with AWS environments to join their Ops team. This is a hands-on engineering role that will work across the board from supporting cloud platforms, performing system upgrades, supporting networks etc.

About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will join an established and technically versatile IT team, that work collaboratively to resolve issues and deliver complex projects. Adaptability and the ability to learn new tech are key to this role, as they are looking for an adept problem solver who is keen to expand on their technical knowledge.

This role will have the expectation of one day per week in their office in County Durham.

Experience Required

  • Experienced in IT Infrastructure project work
  • 2nd / 3rd line support background
  • Must have commercial experience with AWS, and the desire to achieve professional certs
  • Active Directory / Group Policy expertise
  • Windows Server Administration experience
  • Understanding of networking technologies – LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN
  • Excellent communication skills
