Applications are invited for an IT Infrastructure Manager
Location: IT Department
Role Summary: This is a key operational and technical leadership role responsible for the day-to-day delivery, maintenance, and support of GSA’s networks, systems, and technical infrastructure. Working closely with the IT Solutions Architect, you will lead the Infrastructure team and help ensure that GSA’s networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments remain secure, resilient, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of on-premise data centres, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, and cloud services.
- Provide senior-level technical support and troubleshooting.
- Play an important role in operational cybersecurity, vulnerability management, patching, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Act as a key escalation point for major infrastructure incidents.
- Provide line management and development for the Infrastructure team, managing workloads and priorities while supporting high performance, staff wellbeing, and professional development.
- Manage supplier relationships and contribute to infrastructure projects.
- Support continuous improvement across GSA’s IT services.

Required Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a technical delivery team.
- Strong hands-on experience of Microsoft infrastructure, O365/Azure cloud platforms, virtualization, and Cisco networking technologies.
- Operational cybersecurity experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Cisco networking and relevant Microsoft infrastructure accreditation required.
