Keep Critical IT Infrastructure Running Across a Multi-Site Food Business
Role Overview
As an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the technology that supports our operations across the UK. Working within our Infrastructure & Operations team, you'll help ensure our systems remain secure, reliable and resilient while supporting business growth and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders across multiple locations, providing both operational support and technical expertise in a varied and hands-on role.
Key Duties
You will:
- Support and develop IT and Operational Technology infrastructure across our sites.
- Help deliver reliable, secure and high-performing infrastructure services.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive effective resolutions.
- Work with third-party providers to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Monitor trends and recommend improvements to enhance service performance.
- Manage and support the lifecycle of end-user devices and related technologies.
- Participate in an on-call or shift rota to support business-critical systems.
- Promote security, compliance and IT best practices across the business.

You will be an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving problems, improving services and working collaboratively across a fast-paced environment.
You will have:
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure and operational services.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and infrastructure platforms.
- Good understanding of cyber security principles and security-focused design.
- Experience working with service levels, incident management and continuous improvement.
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Knowledge of server environments, data centres or infrastructure technologies.
- A flexible approach to supporting business needs, including out-of-hours support.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between locations when required.
