Our Client
A bank based in Central London is looking to recruit a young, super talented individual as an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst.
Role Overview
You will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience within IT Infrastructure, ideally from the Banking or Financial arena.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting experience with Windows, Office365, and ideally Banking applications and conferencing applications.
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure for the Branch and to provide IT support to staff.
- Assist in the response to service outages and other IT related problems as well as maintenance and upkeep of the security of the systems in place.
Business Performance Duties
- Familiarity with core banking systems or financial applications
- Provide first/Second level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, phones/mobiles, and other IT equipment.
- Laptop imaging experience needed (WIM USB, MDT, SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot) – Image creation, management, and deployments.
- Assist in user account management in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and banking systems.
- Networking Fundamentals – DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN.
- Understanding of cybersecurity measures.
- Perform routine system backups and assist with disaster recovery operations.
- Monitor system performance and report abnormalities to senior IT staff.
- Assist with software updates, patches, and antivirus management.
- Exposure to the following Fortinet solutions – Fortigate, Forticlient VPN, Symantec Endpoint Protection & Encryption, Bitlocker, SentinelOne, Cisco Switches, Tenable, Group policy, ManageEngine, Nagios, MFA.
- Document IT procedures and maintain technical documentation relating to the role.

- Proficient in common operating systems (Linux – Redhat & Ubuntu, Windows OS – Win10 & 11)
- Software proficiency – 0365, SharePoint, and Teams – Banking Applications
- Networking (IT)
- Proficient in programming languages & Automation (good to have)
- Project management
- Data analysis
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- AV Support
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
Job Details
- The Client is based in Central London.
- This is a 12-month FTC position which is hybrid with at least 3 days a week in the office.
- The salary for this position will be circa £35K.
