Location: Fully Remote (you must be based within the UK)
Salary: up to £28,000 + commission
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Thurs: 8:45am–6pm, Fri: 8:45am–5pm)
Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious Junior Recruitment Consultant to work alongside a Senior Consultant within our IT Services recruitment team.
You will work primarily on vacancies allocated to you by the Senior Consultant, taking responsibility for sourcing, qualifying, and managing candidates. The Senior Consultant will retain overall control of the client relationship, vacancy, and recruitment strategy, while providing guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource candidates against allocated IT vacancies using our database, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
- Identify, approach, and qualify suitable candidates.
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare and submit high-quality CVs to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Work closely with the Senior Consultant to ensure vacancies are effectively delivered.
Candidate-Led Business Development
You will also be given specific high-value candidates to canvas into the market with the aim of identifying new recruitment opportunities.

This will involve:
- Identifying relevant companies and hiring managers.
- Contacting prospective clients and introducing suitable candidates.
- Identifying potential recruitment requirements.
- Creating new vacancies from candidate-led activity.
Where your activity creates a new opportunity, the resulting job will become yours to work on, with the Senior Consultant providing support and guidance.
Performance
Initial performance will focus on:
- Candidate sourcing and conversations.
- CV submissions and interviews.
- Successful delivery of allocated vacancies.
- New client contacts and opportunities generated.
- Placements and revenue.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ambitious, competitive, and commercially minded.
- Confident communicating by telephone and email.
- Organised, persistent, and target-driven.
- Interested in IT and technology.
- Comfortable using databases and LinkedIn.
- Keen to learn and develop within recruitment.
Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential.
Progression
The role is designed to develop the successful candidate into a fully independent recruitment consultant and ultimately a Senior Consultant, with increasing responsibility for clients, vacancies, and revenue.

Method Of Working
This is a fully remote role. You must have a professional home workspace suitable for uninterrupted virtual meetings and confidential conversations. Flexibility is required to engage candidates outside standard hours when necessary.
