A Snapshot of Your Day
As the IT Lead, you'll be the primary IT representative for the Hull Blade Factory, ensuring technology enables safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. Your day will involve engaging with site leadership, supporting production-critical systems, leading local IT support resources, and collaborating with global and regional IT teams to deliver excellent service and drive continuous improvement. You'll balance strategic stakeholder engagement with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring IT services, projects, and digital initiatives are delivered effectively while minimizing disruption to manufacturing activities.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Act as the primary IT contact for the Hull Blade Factory, building strong relationships with site leadership and key business stakeholders.
- Lead the delivery of onsite IT services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and escalations, driving timely resolution and continuous service improvement.
- Represent site requirements within regional and global IT forums, ensuring local business priorities are understood and supported.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for local IT support resources and external service partners.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, HSE, Digitalisation, and Connected Factory teams to support technology-enabled operations.
- Coordinate infrastructure, workplace, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects, ensuring successful implementation with minimal operational disruption.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize IT services, processes, and user experience.
- Support production-critical systems and manufacturing technologies by coordinating IT infrastructure, connectivity, and operational technology dependencies.
- Act as a key escalation point during major incidents and support business continuity activities to maintain manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance, and service management standards across the site.

What You Bring
- Significant experience leading IT service delivery, support, or engagement functions within a large industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing IT support teams, vendors, or service partners.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across operational, technical, and leadership teams.
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), including Incident, Problem, Change, and Escalation Management.
- Experience delivering IT infrastructure, workplace technology, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of end-user computing, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint management, identity and access management, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience supporting or working alongside manufacturing systems, factory technology, or operational technology environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across organisational boundaries and work effectively with regional and global IT teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
