Harrison Drury is a market-leading firm of solicitors with offices across Lancashire, Cumbria, and Staffordshire. We’re proud to be named one of the UK’s Best Companies to Work For for the third year running, placing 40th in the Top 100 Best Mid-Sized Companies and 10th in the Best Companies to Work For in the Law Sector. These achievements reflect our commitment to creating a supportive, people-focused workplace where colleagues can thrive.

With over 125 years of history, we’re a well-established firm, but we’re also in an exciting period of growth, with the energy and ambition of a modern, fast-developing business. It’s a fantastic time to join us.

About The Role

This is a key leadership role within our Operations function, ensuring our technology environment is reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of a fast-growing professional services business.

You’ll take ownership of the full IT estate — systems, services, software, and suppliers — while driving improvements, strengthening governance, and delivering well-planned projects that support our future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate IT activities with minimal business disruption.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
