Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented IT Manager to join our dynamic team at a mid-sized, fast-paced creative agency. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things IT. You’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, keeping our systems and processes secure and running smoothly, and overseeing the IT practice. You’ll work closely with staff across all departments and play a key part in maintaining an efficient and tech-enabled workplace

At Envoy, we believe there is real value in spending time together in person. To support collaboration, connection, and a strong employee experience, employees are expected to work from their designated Envoy office a minimum of one day per week.

What You Will Do

Technical Support

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
  • Set up and configure new equipment and software for employees
  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and resolutions

Systems Maintenance

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Install and update software applications as needed
  • Use device management platform(s) to automate & standardize software versions
  • Assist with network maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Implement security measures and updates
  • Access management & tooling across integrated systems
  • Maintain automated administration workflows that power on and offboarding of employees

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain IT inventory of hardware and software
  • Assist with tracking IT expenditures and basic budget items
  • Maintain organized records of software licenses and warranties
  • Coordinate with external vendors for standard procurement activities with finance support
  • Complete compliance audits on behalf of the organization for current and prospective clients

User Assistance

  • Provide training to staff on basic software applications and systems
  • Create and update how-to guides and documentation for common IT procedures
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in an understandable way

Required

Qualities and Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Strong knowledge of Mac OS
  • Familiarity with office productivity software and basic networking concepts
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests
  • Local presence in the Irvine office

Preferred

  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices
  • Experience in a professional office environment

Our Hiring Process

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is between $108,000 to $115,000, plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
