Are you a Network Manager, Senior IT Technician or Senior ICT Technician individual working within schools? Are you looking to take the next step in your career into an IT Manager position? Here you’ll be joining a fast-growing organisation who supply outsourced IT services to the education sector. You will be working within a school and will be responsible for overseeing the management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT network, including the hardware and software infrastructure of the school’s ICT network.

Role
IT Manager (also known as IT Network Manager, Senior ICT Technician, School IT Support, Network ICT Manager, ICT Manager)
Salary
£37k - £42k base salary DOE plus great benefits
Location
Sydenham, South East London
Responsibilities
- Managing the school ICT support contract
- Technical support
- Emergency cover
Requirements
- Demonstrable background as a Senior ICT Technician within schools
- Good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software
- Working knowledge of maintaining networks

- Experience delivering consultative support at 2nd/3rd line level
- Experience working in a school/education environment
- Knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments and backups
- Friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate on all levels
- Technical experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V and cloud technologies such as Office 365/Azure
- Experience of upgrading a school IT System
