Are you an IT Manager who enjoys taking ownership rather than simply keeping the lights on? We’re recruiting an IT Manager for a growing business operating across the commercial property and flexible workspace sector. This is a broad, highly visible role with responsibility for technology across a nationwide portfolio of locations, combining day-to-day IT management with infrastructure, supplier management, projects, and continuous improvement.
This is a standalone IT leadership role, rather than a position managing a large internal team. You’ll take ownership of the technology environment while managing established MSPs, telecoms providers, and specialist technology partners.
Just as importantly, we’re looking for somebody who is genuinely interested in technology. Someone who keeps abreast of what is happening in the market, spots opportunities, and regularly brings new ideas to the business rather than waiting to be told what needs improving.
What will you be doing?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You’ll take ownership of IT across a multi-site UK estate, covering the Microsoft environment, end-user technology, connectivity, networks, security, and the technology services supporting both employees and customers.
A major part of the role will be SharePoint and Microsoft 365, so you’ll need strong hands-on SharePoint administration and governance experience alongside broader knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
You’ll manage the performance of outsourced technology partners, ensuring issues are resolved properly, suppliers deliver what they promise, and you'll retain appropriate control of systems, access, and technology estate.
There is also a significant project and expansion element to the position. As new office locations are opened or acquired, you’ll oversee their integration into the wider technology environment – coordinating connectivity, Wi-Fi, networks, hardware, systems, suppliers, testing, and handover.
What are we looking for?
We'd like to speak with IT Managers who have operated within a multi-site environment and are comfortable being the internal technology authority while using external partners for specialist delivery.

You'll need strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration experience, good knowledge of networking and connectivity, and enough technical depth to challenge MSPs and infrastructure providers rather than simply accepting what you're told.
Experience should ideally include:
- SharePoint administration, permissions, governance, and document libraries
- Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and OneDrive
- Multi-site IT infrastructure and connectivity
- Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
- Power BI
- Managing MSPs, telecoms providers, and other technology suppliers
- IT security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Technology projects and new-site implementations
- Supplier contracts, licensing, budgets, and renewals
- Identifying and introducing new technology, automation, and process improvements
The technical breadth is important, but so is your approach. We want somebody curious, proactive, and commercially aware – an IT Manager who will get out into the business, understand how people and customers use technology, and continually ask, “Could we do this better?”
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
