Join the forefront of innovation as an IT Network Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cutting-edge cloud-based solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Analyst to contribute to the development and optimisation of on-premise and Azure-based infrastructure.

Reporting to the IT Cloud & Platform Network Lead, you will be part of a 16-person Infrastructure Services team across the firm’s UK offices. Working within a collaborative and agile environment, you will partner with developers, product owners, data engineers, and key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across platforms, processes, and services.

Key Responsibilities, Skills & Experience

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the firm’s network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Plan and develop cloud architecture aligned to organisational strategy, ensuring adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and performance, with strong knowledge of frameworks such as CIS and ISO27001.
  • Manage and enhance cloud network security, including maintaining solution documentation, administering cybersecurity tools, and applying Zero Trust networking principles.
  • Oversee vulnerability management and remediation, ensuring systems are patched and maintained in line with firm policies, while proactively managing cybersecurity risks.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise network technologies, including dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN solutions, and network load balancing (e.g., F5 or equivalent).
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting, including resolution of server edge connectivity issues, while maintaining accurate records within IT Service Management tools.
  • Implement proactive monitoring across systems and services, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability through appropriate tooling and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure solutions, support ongoing improvements, and ensure all systems have appropriate backup, configuration management, and BCDR protections in place.
  • Contribute to automation and infrastructure-as-code approaches, with experience or exposure to tools such as Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), and Azure Functions.
  • Demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills, including the ability to code, communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
  • Bring several years’ experience in a similar Infrastructure, Network, or with a solid understanding of ITIL processes (certification desirable).
  • Maintain flexibility to support business needs, including occasional weekend work and travel to other offices when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
