IT Network & Security Senior Specialist

A global fashion brand is currently recruiting an IT Network & Security Senior Specialist to support the continued expansion of its European retail business. You will support the transition of IT services from the parent group and vendor-managed environments while ensuring secure and reliable operations across stores, warehouses, showrooms and offices. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on network engineering and cyber-security experience, strong expertise in Okta and Entra ID, and experience working across multi-site retail or office environments. Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale EMEA network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN and WiFi across offices, stores, warehouses and showrooms
  • Deploy, monitor and optimise store and warehouse networking, including Cisco Meraki and other cloud-managed network equipment
  • Manage secure connectivity and support the development of OEG-specific SD-WAN and third-party/3PL network arrangements
  • Administer identity and access through Okta and Entra ID, including SSO, MFA, application integrations and identity lifecycle management
  • Manage endpoint security, device compliance, encryption and patching using tools including Microsoft Intune and MDM
  • Own vulnerability management activities including scanning, risk prioritisation, remediation tracking and reporting
  • Operate security tools including CrowdStrike, Qualys and BitSight, and provide initial response to security incidents
  • Support network and security requirements for new store openings, warehouse moves and SAP/POS connectivity

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years hands-on network engineering (routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN, WiFi) across multi-site
  • Strong experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN and WiFi, including Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN
  • Proven cyber-security experience covering endpoint security, vulnerability management and patching
  • Practical expertise in Okta and Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, MFA and identity lifecycle management
  • Experience with CrowdStrike, Qualys and BitSight would be highly advantageous
  • CISM certified or actively working towards CISM
  • Experience working across retail, logistics or other multi-site environments
  • Comfortable working in a carve-out environment and coordinating with global teams and external vendors
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
