IT Network Specialist

We are currently recruiting for an IT Network Specialist to sit within the EU team, based in our London office. You will be reporting into the IT Infrastructure Manager, working closely with internal departments and external suppliers at an EU level.

This is an opportunity for someone with hands-on network engineering and support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment. You'll play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the network infrastructure that connects UNIQLO's stores and offices across Europe, combining day-to-day operational support with exciting network projects while collaborating with international teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and optimising the network environment that underpins UNIQLO's stores and offices across Europe.
  • Managing network operations, monitoring performance, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, maintaining network security.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable network services.
  • Contributing to network projects, new store openings, WAN and wireless deployments, and continuous improvements that enable our business to grow and operate efficiently.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • 3+ years' experience in a Network Engineer, Network Support, or IT Networking role, with strong hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
  • Experience supporting and configuring Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments across multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, including firewall management, access controls, and secure remote connectivity.
  • Experience supporting cloud networking solutions, particularly within AWS environments.
  • Proven experience delivering network projects, network refreshes, and new store or office deployments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across business functions and third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support, train, and coach end users and first-line support teams.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills and willingness to travel across Europe as required.
