IT Operations Coordinator
R13 Recruitment are excited to be supporting an innovative and people-focused organisation in their search for an IT Operations Coordinator to join their Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technology with exceptional customer service, ensuring colleagues have the tools, systems and support they need to do their best work.
As the IT Operations Coordinator, you'll become the central point of coordination for day-to-day IT operations across the business. Working closely with colleagues, external technology partners and internal stakeholders, you'll oversee the employee technology experience from onboarding through to offboarding, coordinate IT support, manage technology assets and contribute to ongoing improvements across business systems and processes.

The Day to Day
- Coordinating day-to-day IT operations and ensuring colleagues receive an efficient and positive support experience.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the Managed Service Provider (MSP), monitoring service levels and ensuring support requests are resolved promptly.
- Managing the onboarding, offboarding and technology requirements for employees throughout their lifecycle.
- Ordering, configuring and coordinating laptops, devices and technology equipment.
- Administering user accounts, software licences and core business applications.
- Supporting Google Workspace administration and the wider SaaS environment.
- Assisting with business systems improvements and technology projects.
- Supporting the adoption of AI-powered productivity tools, ensuring they are used securely and responsibly.
- Working alongside governance and compliance colleagues to maintain secure technology practices and protect confidential information.
- Maintaining accurate technology documentation, asset registers and user records.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall employee technology experience.

You Will Have/Be
- Previous experience within an IT support, IT operations or IT coordination role.
- Experience coordinating IT support requests and working with third-party technology providers.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft or Google cloud-based business systems, ideally including Google Workspace.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience administering user accounts, software licences and technology assets.
- An interest in emerging technologies, automation and AI tools.
- An understanding of information security and the importance of protecting confidential data.
- A genuine passion for improving the experience technology delivers to colleagues.
