IT Operations Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Coordinator to join our growing business. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Central Brighton that offers the opportunity to make a real impact on our organisation's IT service delivery.

You will own the day-to-day running of IT across service and change management, working hands-on with our service desk, managing our change backlog, and coordinating with technical leads and external partners to keep our IT operations running smoothly.

About the role

This is a hands-on coordination role, not a people-management position. You will report to the IT Leadership Team, who retain overall IT management and strategic oversight. Your day-to-day focus will be on:

Service Management & Daily Operations

  • Own the service desk: ensure it's being used effectively and processes are followed
  • Run daily operational health checks (exception reports, logs, monitoring alerts, batch job confirmations)
  • Review and maintain the service desk process, ensuring stakeholder communications are in place

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate day-to-day with technical leads and external partners
  • Be the key point of contact for the business on IT matters
  • Manage supplier relationships and escalations effectively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
