We are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed professional services group to appoint an IT Operations Manager at an important stage in its technology transformation.

The business is moving away from legacy hosted infrastructure towards a modern, cloud-first Microsoft environment. Alongside this, it is investing in CRM, client onboarding, data, automation and AI.

Reporting to the CTO, you will take ownership of day-to-day technology operations and become the principal link between the business and its managed service partner. This is initially a hands-on, individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead a small internal team as the organisation grows.

The role

You will:

  • Own the operational relationship with the managed service partner, covering service levels, incidents, escalations, performance and continual improvement
  • Hold external suppliers accountable for delivering a reliable, secure and responsive technology service
  • Oversee the Microsoft estate, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams and end-user devices
  • Coordinate user access, onboarding and offboarding
  • Support cloud migrations, tenant changes and infrastructure modernisation
  • Provide operational input into wider CRM, onboarding, automation, AI and data programmes
  • Contribute to cyber security, technology risk, governance and controls
  • Manage technology suppliers, contracts, renewals and operational costs
  • Build strong relationships across the firm and communicate technical matters clearly
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve services, systems and processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
