The Role
Reporting to the IT Technical Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate will be one of two IT Platforms Engineers, working alongside external partner resource to support the Club's core infrastructure. The Engineers are primarily based at the Club's head office at Lilywhite House but travel to other Club sites, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Training Centre, as required.
The IT Platforms Engineers share technical support for matches and events at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a rotational basis, often working from the stadium control room. Matches and events regularly take place on evenings and weekends, so candidates must be able to work flexibly around the Club's fixture and events calendar.
The IT Platforms Engineers will have a service-minded mentality, looking to always provide an excellent level of service to people across the company, of varying seniority. In addition, the IT Platforms Engineers will be highly efficient and have methodical organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as 3rd Line technical point of contact and escalation point for 2nd Line, taking ownership of issues through to resolution within agreed SLAs and keeping users informed
- Provide on-site technical support for matches and events on a rotational basis, including working from the stadium control room
- Monitor, maintain and patch back-end technology services, ensuring they run reliably and perform optimally
- Manage backup and recovery, including regular restore testing, and support the Club's disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure configurations, supporting the Club's security and compliance obligations (such as Cyber Essentials and PCI-DSS)
- Identify improvements to how the business uses technology and deliver implementation projects alongside support duties, ensuring solutions are tested and documented before commissioning
- Follow change control and manage all requests and changes through the service desk system
- Maintain effective relationships with partner vendors and external support resource
- Mentor fellow third line team members and help develop the 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an IT Infrastructure role in a demanding environment
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and working knowledge of SQL Server administration
- Expert use of Active Directory services and Group Policy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration in a hybrid environment
- Experience of patch and software deployment with Microsoft MECM (SCCM) and Intune
- Experience of server virtualization platforms
- Working knowledge of enterprise backup solutions
- Knowledge of certificate management, including internal certificate authorities and public SSL/TLS certificates
- Ability to use scripting tools, ideally PowerShell
- Good understanding of network topologies
- Demonstrable ability to create and follow documented processes, as well as experience working with change control

- Experience with HPE VM Essentials and/or HPE GreenLake
- Working knowledge of Linux environments
- Experience with Veeam backup and replication
- Experience with Okta identity and access management
- Experience with Varonis data security
- Experience working with macOS and iOS
- Experience supporting technology in a live events, stadium or venue environment
