Profile Summary
Lead and develop the IT portfolio Data & Reporting function, ensuring it provides trusted management information, actionable insight and a single source of truth for portfolio, operational, governance and financial data.
The role is responsible for transforming data into meaningful business insight through analytics, automation, AI-enabled reporting and visualisation solutions. Working closely with PMO, Finance and senior IT leadership, the role will improve data quality, strengthen reporting capability and deliver modern management information that supports effective decision-making.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the Data Intelligence & Reporting function.
- Establish and maintain a single source of truth for portfolio and governance reporting.
- Define reporting standards, data governance controls and management information frameworks.
- Own the Power BI reporting strategy and dashboard suite.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled reporting, analytics and automation capabilities.
- Improve data quality, transparency and reporting consistency.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks and insight-led reporting.
- Translate complex financial, operational and portfolio data into meaningful business insight.
- Identify emerging risks, trends and opportunities through data analysis.
- Influence stakeholders and drive a data-driven culture across the IT TMO organisation.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Proven experience establishing management information and reporting functions.
- Strong Power BI, analytics and data visualisation expertise.
- Experience designing reporting frameworks and executive dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality controls.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve reporting and analytics.
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Behaviours And Competencies
- Demonstrable track record of improving data quality, reporting capability and management insight.
- The successful candidate will bring experience from mature data and reporting environments and will be expected to challenge existing reporting approaches, improve data quality, modernise reporting capabilities and establish a trusted data-driven decision-making culture across the organisation.
