Contract Manager – Procurement Specialist
Location: Reading / Portsmouth
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager / Procurement Specialist to support a busy IT and Cyber procurement function. This role will focus on the sourcing of IT and Telco services, contract management, supplier negotiations, and developing effective commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and sourcing activity across IT and technology services.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with major technology suppliers.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IT contractual terms.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Support supplier relationship and performance management.
- Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Data Protection, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
- Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across procurement processes.

- Around 10 years' experience in IT / Technology Procurement.
- Strong contract management and negotiation experience.
- Experience negotiating with Tier 1 technology suppliers.
- Strong IT contract drafting and commercial skills.
- Experience within Cyber, Information Security, Telco, or Telecommunications is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A methodical, commercially focused, and results-driven approach.
- Knowledge of UK procurement legislation is desirable.
- Experience with systems such as Oracle, Jaggaer, Bravo! or similar would be beneficial.
