IT Procurement Category Manager – Transformation & Integration

Milton Keynes | Hybrid Working | Up to £80,000 + Excellent Package

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced IT Procurement professional to join one of the biggest names in financial services at the forefront of one of the most significant transformation and integration programmes in the organisation's history.

The business is undergoing major change, creating an exciting environment for procurement professionals who want to do more than simply manage an established category. You'll have the opportunity to help shape technology procurement through a period of significant transformation, working across complex sourcing, supplier consolidation and integration activity.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading strategic IT Procurement and Technology sourcing across a broad portfolio of spend
  • Supporting major transformation and integration programmes, identifying opportunities across suppliers, contracts and technology estates
  • Developing category strategies and leading complex commercial negotiations with major technology vendors
  • Partnering with senior Technology, Transformation and business stakeholders
  • Driving commercial value, supplier optimisation and procurement best practice within a highly regulated environment

What they're looking for

  • Strong IT / Technology Procurement experience across areas such as Software, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security or Technology Services
  • Experience within Financial Services or another highly regulated industry
  • Exposure to M&A integration, post-merger procurement, supplier consolidation or large-scale transformation would be a significant advantage
  • Excellent strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management capability
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to operate through significant organisational change
