Job Title: IT Procurement Specialist

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Hereford (Hybrid)

Salary: Hoople Band D £32,348.00 - £40,786 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 23rd August 2026


This is an excellent opportunity to join Hoople Ltd as a Procurement Specialist within the Commercial Services team, specialising in IT procurement. The role offers a supportive working environment and an excellent opportunity to further develop your commercial expertise and public sector procurement knowledge.

The Commercial Services team supports the procurement and management of IT products and services, including software, licences and hardware that support services across Herefordshire, including Hoople Ltd, Herefordshire Council, Wye Valley NHS Trust and other clients.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Procurement colleagues and key stakeholders, you will lead and support the delivery of a variety of tenders and procurement exercises on behalf of Hoople and its clients.

Success in this role will depend on your ability to build and maintain effective relationships with directors, managers and colleagues across multiple organisations. You will need to be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and possess excellent attention to detail.

You will demonstrate strong public sector procurement knowledge and commercial expertise, guiding stakeholders through end-to-end procurement processes. You will provide advice on procurement best practice, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies and support the successful award and management of contracts that deliver value for money.
