Project Coordinator

At Bensons for Beds, we exist to help the nation sleep better by becoming the UK’s most trusted sleep solutions specialist.

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our IT team and become the organisational heartbeat of how change gets delivered across Bensons.

You’ll be the person helping to keep plans, actions and information moving, making sure everyone knows what’s happening, what’s next and when things need to get done.

Working alongside our Business Applications team, you’ll support a variety of IT projects and business change requests, working with colleagues across Retail, Logistics, Customer Services and our central teams. It’s a great opportunity to get stuck in, build your project management experience and develop towards becoming a Project Manager yourself.

Under the Covers

You’ll be arranging meetings, keeping project plans up to date, chasing actions, preparing reports and making sure nothing slips through the gaps. You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Support Teams and third-party suppliers, making sure the right people have the right information at the right time.

Essential Sleep Duties

  • Support the delivery of IT projects and business change requests, coordinating day-to-day activity across business and technical teams.
  • Keep project plans, schedules and action logs up to date, tracking milestones and making sure actions are followed through.
  • Take ownership of smaller, well-defined change requests as your experience grows.
  • Organise project meetings, workshops and reviews, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up actions.
  • Keep project documentation, records and trackers accurate and up to date, making sure everyone has access to the information they need.
  • Prepare project reports, packs and dashboards, working with the Project Manager to provide clear and accurate updates.
  • Support project budget tracking, including maintaining cost logs and collating purchase orders and invoices.
  • Help manage change requests, risks, issues and dependencies, escalating anything that needs additional support.
  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day project queries and keep stakeholders updated on progress, changes and next steps.
  • Support business readiness and go-live activity, including coordinating training, communications and other activities needed to make change happen smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
