IT Project Coordinator
The role of IT Project Coordinator at JCDecaux is essential in supporting the successful planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. This position is located within the IT Division and reports directly to the Programme Office Director. The IT Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure projects align with business needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and working practices.

What you'll be doing...
Project Management
- Assist in planning and coordinating project activities.
- Support the development of project plans and schedules.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Monitor project progress and report on any issues or risks to the project manager.
Communication and Coordination
- Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders.
- Schedule and organise project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Ensure that project deliverables are communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
Documentation and Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project logs, including action items, risks, issues, and changes.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project status reports.
- Manage project-related administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document control.

Quality Management
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by examining all outcomes of processes and implementing improvements regardless of the outcome's nature.
- Ensure adherence to Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments, ensuring they are auditable, and that any non-adherence identified during audits is addressed with timely corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT and data management.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards.
- Assist in the review and quality control of project deliverables.
Personal
- Actively look to senior members of the team to learn leadership, methodology, and people skills.
- Use own initiative and actively seek out work during quieter periods where assistance can be given on administrative tasks.
- Demonstrate proven self-working and motivational skills.
Tools
- Organise and understand project management templates and tools.
- Use project management software and tools to assist in tracking and reporting project progress.
Knowledge
- Commit to understanding the business needs across the organisation.
- Stay informed about best practices in project management and apply them to support project success.
Skills
- Be able to commit to self-study for project management certification.
- Excellent written and presentational skills.
- Strong organisational skills and diligence.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral presentation).
- Good analysis, testing, and troubleshooting skills.

A little bit about you...
- Educated in a Business, IT, or engineering-related field or possess relevant industry experience.
- Basic project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation) or equivalent relevant experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Monday etc) is preferred.
