Based At: Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, BA4 4EE
Duration: October 2026 – End July 2027. Fixed Term Contract to support IT Project Development Work
Hours: Full time role primarily based at Worthy Farm Offices. During the busy period additional hours may be required with evening and weekend work expected during June and early July.
Pay rate: £42,000 annual salary pro rata
This role will be based within the busy offices for Glastonbury Festival and will involve liaising with multiple departments. We are looking for an experienced IT professional. The role is fixed term and will involve project management, developing and managing the implementation of forward-looking IT policy, compliance and day-day user support for the peak period within the central office functions. Main duties of the successful applicant:
- Offering in-person IT support and training for central office team members (Including MS Office Suite, Sharepoint, VPN, hardware support etc)
- Supporting with troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Maintaining accurate Information Security logs and kit inventory and risk register, in-line with up-to-date health and safety information
- Researching and developing new IT functionality as required by internal departments
- Ensuring all IT operations are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures, and up-to-date health and safety information
- Promoting a proactive cyber safety culture within the business, ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials
- Co-ordinating and attending regular data security working group meetings
- Working collaboratively with DPO and vCISO
- Ensuring compliance and audit readiness by maintaining and monitoring robust data governance, access control, and audit mechanisms across systems and platforms.
- Advising senior leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities
- Managing day to day relationships with vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness

Requirements
- Experienced in IT operations and governance
- Proven experience with web-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Filemaker
- Confident managing third-party vendors and suppliers
- Ability to operate at both strategic and practical levels
- Ability to successfully implement change within established environments
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Effective communicator
- Proactive attitude
- Relevant Professional qualifications are a bonus
Additional Info:
The role will involve some weekend work over the Festival period. The role is based at our offices in Pilton.
