IT Project Manager – Healthcare
12 month FTC
Remote
Circa £50k
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with healthcare experience to lead the successful delivery of IT and digital transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget. The role will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, operational teams and external partners to deliver measurable business benefits and ensure successful transition into live service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT and digital projects from initiation through to delivery and implementation.
- Manage project scope, plans, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide clear project reporting to senior stakeholders and programme boards.
- Support change, testing, go-live, service transition and post-implementation activities.
- Attend CAB and contribute to release management, prioritisation and validation.
- Build strong relationships across clinical, operational, technology and external teams.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Support continuous improvement and project management capability across the organisation.

About You

- Proven experience delivering IT/digital projects within a healthcare environment – essential.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and digital transformation.
- Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, risks, resources and benefits.
- Knowledge of software development and/or DevOps environments.
- Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Healthcare experience is highly desirable for this position.
