IT Project Manager
Location: Europe Remote, with occasional travel as required
Employment: 6 month contract with a possibility to extend
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of IT projects across the organisation. Projects will primarily focus on infrastructure and ERP, with potential involvement in other IT initiatives as required. This role is suited to a highly organised and proactive individual.
This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and governance. While technical knowledge is important, the emphasis is on driving delivery, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a matrix organisation, managing projects with multiple reporting lines and dotted-line relationships to various leaders, reflecting the dynamic nature of our projects at Morgan.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
- Manage project governance processes, including steering groups, reporting, and assurance activities.
- Engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and third-party suppliers.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
- Ensure alignment with organisational strategy, change management processes, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support procurement and contract management activities where relevant.
- Operate effectively within a matrix management structure, managing dotted-line relationships and reporting to multiple leaders as required.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering IT projects in global manufacturing companies, ideally within matrix organisations.
- Strong project management skills, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in project governance, reporting, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, or software development projects (technical depth not required, but context awareness is essential).
- Experience managing projects with multiple reporting lines or dotted-line relationships.
Desirable
- Infrastructure and ERP project experience.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM).
- Agile delivery experience highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.
