Deliver projects that help shape the future of Northern Gas Networks

As an IT Project Manager, you'll deliver a range of IT and business change projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, effectively and in line with business objectives. Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and delivery partners, you'll oversee projects from initiation through to completion, managing plans, budgets, risks and dependencies along the way.

You'll play an important role in bringing people together, building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting effective decision-making through governance and communication. Alongside project delivery, you'll be involved in supplier management, commercial activities and procurement processes, helping to ensure projects deliver value for both NGN and our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working with a diverse range of stakeholders and delivering meaningful change within a complex operational environment.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the delivery of IT and business change projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, forecasts, risks and issue logs.
  • Produce project reporting and provide regular updates to stakeholders and governance groups.
  • Lead supplier and contract management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and support business case development.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, project workshops and steering group meetings.
  • Support decision-making through effective risk management and governance processes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across NGN and external delivery partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
